Being entitled to an opinion, I have one, which is that the chances of well schooled horses should not be adversely affected by fractious ones,if at all possible.
The horse was playing up badly and became, IMO, the master of its own destiny, and blew it,and unless caused by HANDLERS or EQUIPMENT,the starter should not play the role of compensater.
Don't forget that the fancied horses were well behaved ,but whose chances were affected by the false start.

Fair enough.
So how do they overcome this problem, do you suggest that troublesome horses get a maximum of say 4 attempts?
ps the winner of that race was extremely fractious, Striker even mentioned it in the post race interview.
