Arc weekend
14 years 8 months ago
Plenty to look forward to this weekend with the ARC and the Ryder Cup from Celtic Manor(remember to take advantage of Victor Chandlers RyderCup PROMO )
No hype surrounding this years ARC as we don`t have a Dylan Thomas or a Zarkava or a Sea The Stars but we do have a Youmzain the 3 time Runner up to the fore mentioned runners is reported to be in great form by his connections..
Bruce Raymond, racing manager to Youmzain's owner Jaber Abdullah, said: "Richard is very much looking forward to riding Youmzain and if he were to run as well as he has in any of the last three Arcs we think we can win."
So 16/1 looks pretty tasty? Early look at the ARC FIELD

The Arc, the Arc....Paris in the autumn. One could be tempted to phone one's travel agent, he said dreamily.....

I was going to say that now you have no chance Magic, however Paris shopping might swing it when you are at the track (tu)
Best of luck, was removed from my bucket list this year, but maybe next year to see Frankel?

Frankel has just been given a rating of 123 by the BHA. The best rating for a two year old for 20 years.

Cnc got slightly mixed up,his rating of 123 is the highest rating given to a 2yo after winning the Royal Lodge,if he wins his next race (Dewhurst) he has a chance of being the highest rated 2yo of recent times..
Some serious names he has to pass, remember he is by Galileo and they only get better with age..
Celtic Swing was rated a massive 130 after winning the racing post trophy and Johanesburg and New Approach were both rated 126
