Magic,over years of racing ,the list of "brasses" is quite lengthy and he may well be one.The problem is,the only way to know for sure,is to give the horse every chance!
I am pretty sure ,based on result, style of running ,and on breeding his best chance to win,so far was at +- 1400M.
I think running him in features,returning great runs,without earning, and other maiden races,where he ran out of steam,did nothing for his confidence.
In Mauritius,so far,they took him to the front,over a mile and have run him from from way back over shorter.
I think he deserves a win ,but I think his best potential was wasted.Just my feeling.
