Good call hotline....but my sympathy does go out to that horse Cheerful News.
Could end up the most talented horse to never win a race......no horse has ever been messed around as much as he has.
As I posted,a long time ago, wanted to buy him but missed......with sensible handling he surely would have eventually reproduced his" Pierre Jourdan" form? but as time goes on that is less and less likely!

Or maybe he's a bit of a brass that takes the herd insinct a bit too far and runs much the same way irrespective of the strength of the herd (field) that he's up against? It seems that some horses have a fear of finding themselves without at least another horse in their line of vision. Victory Belt has struck me more than once as being similarly inclined and I think S'manga Khumalo should get an instant ride-of-the-month nomination for persuading him to stick his nose out right on the line in the last at Turffies on Saturday.
