GOOD VIBES AT LAST.

After closing the cafe,i managed to get over to the track,and i was pleasantly surprised at the good vibes and atmosphere at the track.The boxes were all nice and full around us, and the entertainment was pleasant.The celebs must have had a great time,as they were in fine spirits as they were being interviewed.We had some nice visitors popping in at the box,for a couple of refreshments and it was nice to chat to some of the 'Bras'and their way of thinking.It was good to have our up and coming jockey N Welsh share her views on our likeable sport.She did say that the jockeys guys were dominant,so she only gets the scraps thrown at her,im sure she is keen, so come on trainers lets give her a fair chance,you could be surprised.

hi zoro, yes i can back you up here. the vibe was good there seemed quite a few people on course. I only got there for R 3 so i had to park in the bush by the NHRA offices ( i suppose my fault for arriving late ) the parking lot was full to capacity ( why did they not open the centre field parking ? or did i have my blinkers on ? )

on the way out the music from BONGI sounded great...... i hope we have a repeat performance next Friday night at the jockeys international meeting.

I hope we have a repeat performance at the SUMMER CUP - end of November....... but i fear this will NOT be the case with the EXHORBITANT prices they are asking for the summer cup meeting - around R 750.00 per head i believe.
