Charl mentioned on his forum ( proposed tight dovetail with SFRW) that "Sfrw is undoubtedly the best and most visited racing forum in SA.."
He should have bothered to check!!!

For the week Saturday 27th November -Saturday 4th December(inclusive) this is the Checkable activity on the 2 "busiest " Forums
SFRW

Hibby if i was interested in buying into the website, how is a value/price worked out for interest sake?In my eyes this ABC is streets ahead, forget what the pretenders think, its got to be a viable honest growing website.I believe exciting things will be happening next year, will try and get a bit of the action.

Hibby and Scotia, keep up the good work.
Whilst I think Charls site is pretty good I've got zero interest in ever looking at the SFRW forum.
I find most of the threads here informative and with contributors like Magic and Barry the site really is going from strength to strength. Things on ABC are generally pretty clean and most opinions are respected without arrogance and mud slinging.
If Charl had any brains he would abandon his forum and post on this site. He's got some interesting views but I can only think he would be making a mistake by getting into bed with SFRW. Each to their own I guess...

You think 1.9 million is a lot of hits?
Sheesh, I know one girl here in town that gets that many every night at the Hilton Hotel bar!

Good morning Bob and thanks for the facts, got this from Telesis (chart below)
Productivity is doing something better today than you did yesterday, no matter how well you thought you did yesterday.
Lets just focus on doing the best we can and keeping it decent for the visitors.

IMO - The merger will see more of Charl's members ending up here anyway. Not all are excited by the marriage it seems. The point really is that there is a small pool of us who contribute to these sites and the only division is our differnces of opinions on issues.
I view the sites as follows:
Racingweb forum- A tipping forum and a place to discuss the days racing rather than issues. Discussion on issues mostly take place under Charl's articles on the homepage.
SFRW - A place to discuss and sometimes attack major issues - Has been said that this is a bit of a conspiracy theorists site. Love it or hate it it has a place in the industry. The Cat has lost his claws a bit though. He seems more open to debate whereas in the past, if he though you were a twat he would let you have it (Refer Nomchevo and Cat spats of old on this very site).
ABC - You all know how I feel about this site. Its strong lebvelheaded and not centred around individuals but more aound the collective. You probably wont find major revelations on the industry here but will find people who are equally as passionate about the industry as any other player. Its just expressed differently.
Each site deserves the space that it occupies in cyberspace and its the user that determines where they want to be. In my eyes its not a competition or a race as to who is best by stats. These stats are only useful in terms of trying to sell advertising. They will become more important when advertisers look to the merger to place banners and adverts. I sense a few conflicts of interest when this happens.
At the end of the day its up to the poster to choose and stats on hits will not make a difference to me.
