Plettenberg Bay Tattersalls / Jack Dash
14 years 6 months ago
Heard Jack Dash is busy opening Plettenberg Bay Tattersalls for Sedley Barr in the Filly Fusion Pub.
Best wishes for your foray into the bookmaking industry. You're a good chap - I'll be up there on holiday next week and will pop in to check it out.

Jack has got loads of experience in all aspects of the industry. Just hope he does not have the same limits as Sportingbet(lol!!). Hoping to make a visit soon. Plett without a tattersalls was always very boring for me, so having a place for the locals and vacationers to visit is a real bonus. Maybe Jack can upload some pics.
Best of luck Jack.

Thanks v much!
Clearly after Paris Perfect, Lizard's Desire and Bold Silvano any idiot could see that PE was the closest thing to the centre of the racing universe. I'd heard that the wind blows there a bit, so I decided to venture as close as reasonably possible. It's another world, very beautiful & green and an awesome climate.
But one can see that racing has lost tremendous ground out here in the sticks. One way or another punters have been terribly neglected from their accounts, and in the end voted with their feet. Anyway, I've been regaled with wondrous stories of bygone times involving one Pip James who was a kingpin and apparently fondly remembered.
Unfortunately, too many folk who guess that the Vodacom July is a mid-winter cellphome special and that the Guineas is a bird that can't fly too far.

Visited Jack Dash - what a pleasure. Lays a bet with a smile and pays out with a smile. Worth a visit or a phone account. Highly recommended - even if just for the racing war stories !!
