If you had one wish/resolution for South African racing what would it be?

Mine would be for more race meetings especially on Mondays and Fridays

I'd prefer more meetings on Sundays. Stand-alones are too dicey, especially in the summer rainfall areas, and the risk of a weekend date with no local racing is too great. However, this is a pipedrean, I know.

As for the 2010 Awards, I'd have to give some sort of achiever award to J J The Jet Plane and to Lucky. As James Goodman pointed out on the Winning Ways show, most of us have absolutely no idea of the trials and tribulations which they had to go through just to get J J to Hong Kong in a reasonably fit state, let alone in a fit enough state to win.

If I still believed in Santa Claus, the biggest present I could ever ask him for on behalf of the SA thoroughbred industry would be to eradicate African Horse Sickness. Completely and for all time. Now there's a pipedream!
