Support the Vaal Trainer's Club initiative

You may be aware that there are new amendments to the nomination and acceptance fees for races effective from January 2011 to make up for the shortfall in stakes available from the Stakes Pot.

Nominations are now R78 per nom & The Declaration Fee has now been brought back at R78 per acceptance/ declaration.

This will substantially increase the cost of nominating and running horses in future and add significantly to the cost of keeping racehorses.

As a Vaal Trainer's Club initiative, it was decided to take this and other matters further. We can only achieve this if we have the strength in numbers of Racehorse Owners behind us.

I therefore urge you to grant me a "General Power of Authority" (see attached form) for us to pursue these matters from a platform of strength and unity.

If you have been approached by another trainer and have granted him this same power of authority, I thank you for your support to our cause and won't need you to sign it for me as well.
