Scotia on the weekend
14 years 3 months ago
Good morning to the Clan and hope you are having fun punting all those horses and sporting events we have running at the moment?
Hate to admit but I am starting to enjoy the cricket.
Dubai Thursday night what can I say took a 5 horse ATC 4 winners going onto my best bet Presvis, but still a good night.
Another good week and month for the site with a few interesting posts
Ebony Flyer beats Igugu , can it happen again?
The "match" race........
New man at Tellytrack...........
Unlucky Dube's competition........
Plus all the latest on Dubai, Cheltenham and much more.
As far betting
Horseracing:
Dubai: Still to early to call for the big night but as expected Bold Silvano on the drift and Twice Over (great run), Snow Fairy, Gitano Hernando (also looks well) Musir, Golden Sword etc, could be plenty money on the table for a very open race with no stand out fav.
Cheltenham: Will heat up over the next couple of weeks and not much change in the prices, so remember a winner a day keeps the bookie away 15th Cue Card 5/2, 16th Master Minded 5/2, 17th Big Bucks 12/10 and my heart will rule my brain on the 18th with Kauto at 13/2. Hope for a few updates from Molly from track side.
Cue Card 5/2 best price for the Supreme Novices
Many other options and specials via Sportingbet........
Football: Premiership 7/10 Utd, 17/10 Arsenal and 16/1 Chelsea but Utd don't have an easy run-in and still a few twists and turns as we go down to the wire.
The FA Cup did suggest City were the best option at 11/2 and have now gone joint favs with Utd at 5/2 with the Gunners at 4/1.
As far as Champions League 2/1 Barcelona, 9/2 Real, 6/1 Chelsea, 10/1 Utd, 12/1 Bayern and 20/1 the other Londoners Arsenal and Spurs.
Cricket: 3/1 India, 4/1 SA, 5/1 Aussies, 7/1 Pakistan, England 12/1 and good old Ireland have gone from 1000/1 to half the price after a few Guinness.Rugby: England should wrap up the 6 Nations including the Grand Slam and Waratahs join Bulls and Crusaders at the top of the boards for Super Rugby.
On the lighter side, I went to a Karaoke for illiterates
In an attempt to get people back to racing I took some overseas visitors to the Elevation room at the big T
An Englishman, a Scotsman, an Irishman, a Latvian, a Turk, an Aussie, a Yank, an Egyptian, a Jap, a Mexican, a Spaniard, a Greek, a Russian, an Estonian, a German, an Italian, a Pole, a Lithuanian, a Swede, a Finn, an Israeli, a Romanian, a Bulgarian, a Serb, a Chzeck, and a Swiss.
Vanessa says "I can't let you in without a Thai"
Good punting and may your God be with you.
