Mistakes on teletrack and newspaper racing pages ....
14 years 3 months ago
I can understand a mistake every now and then but at the moment the information on Tellytrack and in some of the newspapers are crap!
Despite the jockey changes announced yesterday, Tellytrack still displayed the names of "stood down" jockeys as the winners of races. (Again the last race PE yesterday).
The Witness this morning publish the result of race 1 of last nights Greyville meeting followed by the rest of sundays results at Clairwood. Don't anyone check it?
There are some very good write-ups on the racing itself from time to time but when it comes to the relaying of information my guess is that "totally incompetent non racing" people must have a finger in the pie because you cannot watch racing and still continue to make such obvious mistakes.

According to Tellytrack and its pretty little Union Jack those courses are in the UK anyway. Has Ireland surrendered its independence and not told anybody...?
Next thing you know, Longchamp will be in Kenya.(

If Tellytrack decided to pull the plug, you blokes would have nothing to complain about. Wow what a joke you are, complaining over trival things like mistakes made on by the staff of Tellytrack. Japan springs to mind.

The fact that there are vastly bigger disasters in the world does nothing to change the fact that Tellytrack is sloppy. Yes, their bloopers don't kill anyone or threaten the planet with a nuclear winter, but that is no excuse. As I've said before, if they keep getting the small things wrong how can we trust their "importrant" information?

so true.... telltycrap and the likes should use the 'broken window' concept.... firstly & foremost make 110% sure all information is correct..then the 'bigger' picture will fall into place
