based on times recorded which is the best horse to have raced in sa . from sea cottage,politician ,empress club ;horse chesnut,pocket power are some of the contenders ,distances 1000m to 2200m should be a guide

Ja Craig,he said that because Sea Cottage did not beat or hold any course record in his illustrious career,probably the most loved racehorse of his time

When he said that he had trained 7 or 8 July winners so probably knew something. Great trainer, probably the best I have ever seen.
