23/07/2011 Turffontein
Nothings changed with regards to the lead. Both jockeys giving nothing away by riding two winners each. Delpech still holding the aces going into the final week with a lead of four. Scottsville tomorrow will be challenging for both jocks. Smart money will now be on Delpech to take the championship.
Today
Delpech - 2
Marcus - 2
Jockey Log
Delpech = 219
Marcus = 215
Lead = 4
Cheers

MARCUS 53 RIDES
DELPECH 41 RIDES
LEFT
EXCLUDING
29TH FAIRVIEW AND 31ST TURFONTEIN RACING
NOT UNLIKELY THEY COULD STILL EACH RIDE ANOTHER 15 WINS EACH.

Morning guys and txs again for all the facts, so 4 difference and the rides left are interesting, without seeing the fields and the current strike rates Marcus could have another 15? Anthony another 8?................but this depends on a little factor called the "horses"....................all the best to both (tu)

24/07/2011 Scottsville
Lead cut by one as Marcus rides three winners to Delpech's two. Was a tough day at the office for both jockeys and some brilliant riding, especially by Marcus Don't know how he got assessment home after dropping whip and picking up again. Just a week left to wrap up this marathon.
Today
Delpech - 2
Marcus - 3
Jockey Log
Delpech = 221
Marcus = 218
Lead = 3
Cheers

25/07/2011 Kimberley
A week ago Delpech was six in front. Today Marcus is one in front. Marcus rides four winner in Kimberley and in the process moves into the lead for the first time. The lead could have been much more had Marcus won on the other mounts which were favourites. So with only a few meetings left, what has Delpech got up his sleeve. Who will reign supreme come Sunday 31/07/2011. The odds must now favour Marcus with his determination to win this championship.
But it is not over until the fat lady sings
Today
Delpech - 0 (Not Riding)
Marcus - 4
Jockey Log
Delpech = 221
Marcus = 222
Lead = 1
Cheers
