Barcelona v Man United

Barcelona will be too good for United come Saturday. The Barcelona midfielders are far more likely to prise open a United defence that has not looked at the top of its game this season. If Ferdinand is made to turn and chase then there will only be one winner as he is slow. I think that Rooney will struggle against Puyol and Piquet thus Hernandez wont get good ball. I see a cagey opening 20 minutes with Inista and Xavi starting to probe. I am hoping for a strong ref that can see the fouls of Man United and the dives of Barcelona. This game can be a classic and there will be at least 4 goals. I notice that Ferguson has not started his usual patter about the ref as yet. Come Wednesday/Thursday and he will be in full voice, unless he knows that no matter what ref they get it will not prevent the Spainish giants from winning.

Prediction 3-1 Barcelona

Man utd central defence is probably the best in Europe imo...

Because Barca have a poor squad(numbers wise) they have played on average 40.5 games this season,Utd have played on average 31 games which probably makes them the fresher side..

can`t wait for the match..

United will def be the fresher side,I think all those games barca have played against madrid in the past few week have taken the juice outa them compared to united who will be on the prowl like hungry lions.

Going to be a good game either way.
Everyone seems to be writing United off, but I think attack wise United will be a match for Barca.
Barca And United both have the capabilities of breaking down each others defenses, and the game is gong to be won and lost in the middle and its going to come down to discipline as to who is going to get the upper hand....and perhaps fitness as mentioned above.
Sir Alex will have a well drilled, tight unit set up for the match and will not make it easy for Barca.
I hope Barca win, but its not going to be the "walk in the park" that everyone is predicting.

So if United are a class above Arsenal, then howcome Arsenal outplayed and beat United 3 weeks ago?

One of arsenals rare wins over united. In terms of achievements united are a class above. BTW i am a newcastle supporter.
