Good morning to the Clan and sure you ladies are looking forward to another sporting weekend.

Great racing and great soccer/football, no worries the consolation is that you can justify a new couch on Monday.

Lets start with the local racing and I would like to thank Gold Circle for all the information in the form of press releases and the bookies for pricing up early.

The venue is Scottsville:

Alan Robertson: Princess Victoria 33/10, Trinity House 33/10, Hidden Beauty 5/1 and Lady Var 7/1 to mention a few and you would have to be brave to take a big bet here. I have a slight preference for Trinity House.

Gibraltar Blue

SA Fillies Sprint: Gibraltar Blue 5/2 vs Val De Ra 5/2 and not to forget Covenant 5/1, I will go for Val De Ra and hope it can make every post a winning one but they will be flying at the award winning filly at the death.

Delago Delux evens should be hard to beat in the Medallion and What a Winter 9/10 is my best bet of the day to win the Golden Horse Casino Sprint.

Delago Delux should be hard to beat

If you have an old uncomfortable couch get down to Pietermaritzburg.

We also have betting for the Woolavington where Igugu is 5/10 and a rather weak looking Daily News 2000 where Galileos Destiny is a 4/1 fav

..............remember and use your FREE R1500...Golden Horse Casino Sprint betting

Note! they also have betting on the SA jockey championship between Marcus and Delpech in what is proving to be a great contest.

As far as overseas is concerned I did a good update after some great racing last weekend and it can get rather confusing with all the various options open to the top horses, however the talk of the town was the Aussie star So You Think. It has gone fav for the ARC 4/1, could also run against Workforce and Carlton House in the King George and the Sussex Stakes could see Frankel, Canford Hills and So You Think.
The July Cup could see superstar Rocket Man top the boards, must mention the Eclipse where So You Think could meet Workforce?
I suggest we just wait for the final acceptances and in the UK that also does not guarantee a runner

Lets talk about what we do know and that Blue Bunting 2/1 and Carlton House 16/10 could be the Oaks and Derby double.
Ascot where Canford Cliffs 11/10 meets Goldikova 16/10 in the Queen Anne, Frankel 4/10 to win the St James's Palace, Fame and Glory 4/1 for the Gold Cup,

I do fancy Animal Kingdom to win the Belmont, maybe Barry Irwin can steer us in the right direction?

Carlton House can win the Derby for the Queen?

Then we have the BIG match, probably the highlight of the season where the best team in the world take on the best supported team in the world, we have plenty comments on the site and hoping for a great game I have taken 3-3 at 90 mins at 95/1 but the options to have a bet on this event are massive, the only bet I could not find was which of the teams supporters will eat the first pie?

Rugby where betting much the same, but a couple of the Bulls supporters think they still have a shout after touching 90/1 now in the region of 20/1, but from a sober point of view Crusaders 12/10, Reds 33/10, Stormers 5/1 and Blues 8/1 probably some better options.

Tennis where the French Open asks the question can Djokovic 16/10 keep his unbeaten run or will Nadal 14/10 halt it? Plus Federer 12/1.
Ladies not fussy who will win just like watching with the volume down

Some highlights from the site

1 Are you happy with Tellytrack, please post your constructive views and suggestions.......

2 Marcus v Delpech

3 Barcelona v Man Utd

Thank you for all your funny emails and I must say enjoyed this one were impossible to post, just consider it when you are sitting on the couch

Have a great sporting weekend and may your God be with you
