how to lose punters to bookies brought to you by gold circus

today is wednesday 4 days after the july and gold circle tab outlets have not got cash to pay punters their winnings from july day..i had my own experience at bettingworlds upmarket club tab branch situated at greyville racecourse where the manageress showed me that she had been given 50k to payout punters and the rest had to come from turnover done that day but alas pe was abandoned so no turnover...try and get hold of management it would be easier to get hold of barack obama....gold circle and phumelela cry like babies about the open bet and this is just another example why i and many others will support bookmakers instead of these 2 instituations who treat punters like absolute shit...i have no doubt this thread will fall on deaf ears as recent appointments at the circus make it very clear to me that the saying the fish stinks from the head holds true in this regard

just to add to the thread that 50k was paid out to one punter...as said somewhere else imagine going to a bank or a casino and being told they have no cash to pay you

Is this just a case that all the takings have been banked and they won`t or don`t like withdrawing from their bank accounts?

Very bad for business,especially after they attracted all the new punters with their great 6 place payout scheme(td)

If this was me i have the athority to personally drive clients no the bank to collect winnings,or we check liabilities and make sure we have enough cash in the premises or we transfer cash from other shops

Just a question I heard it was only the Phumelela tote that paid 6 places and the GC paid 4 what were the payouts?

i think GC couldnt do it only with the modified ATC bet.

this idea of bookies not paying me cash,really annoys me. I have the same problem at Marshalls world of sport...Sometimes to get R5000.00 off them is a problem,and to add insult to injury....u take a double earlier in the day for SAY R10 000,and it arrives ...u go there around 4pm to collect....oh no the clerk says that forget about the winnings...not even the stake can be given back to me in cash....he had dropped it into the safe....so i tell him why didnt he wait to check if it was a losing bet before he dropped it....and off course it was a directive from management....I am the kinda punter that plays cash...and wants cash back...i do not like tranfers...it stuffs my cash flow(with the wife)..lol....Now as soon the clerk tells me that if my next bet has to be a winning one...he wont be able to pay me....i lleave(hope they realise they r losing revenue)...and go to the next bookmaker(so many around these days in close vicinities).....but i must admit...i have collected huge sums from gentlemen bookmakers....Vassie from newlands tattersalls comes to mind...no problem to pay R200 000 .. ,IN CASH...ALSO....even if i phone him at 9 pm in the night before the race...he will lay me upto R50 000 of a horse..no glum faces in sight if the horse wins ...

Yes what a joke. I had to go to 5 branches to withdraw from my tote acc - and in the end had to settle for only 2k. Not once a word of apology or let me make a plan for you. Disgusting treatment of their customers.

Yes a disgrace boys...and another thing how safe are their tote outlets to collect that cash..sometimes they could not even pay R2k..

Thats why I now from this year only take tote bets on Interbet..they credit your account immediately and you can draw safely and whenever you want..much much better

Would guess in this day and age with electronic transfers etc, probably not very clever to be handling large sums of cash, if one can avoid it, but do understand the punter that puts a wad over the counter expects to get the cash back.
