No,didn't see it.....was it in race 5?
I enjoyed the dual between Assessment & Chipnputt.
Marcus showed his class by winning on Assessment.

Txs Bob, not sure he was dropping the whip, I think he was intimidating Delpech by giving an Igugu wave to the crowd half way up the straight...

I think a couple of the owners and the trainer nearly had a heart attack. Great ride to get Assessment to get back and win after looking beaten halfway down the straight. The mark of a champion jockeys is to get horses to win that could not or should not have won.

If Marcus decides to give up being a jockey (which may the good Lord forbid) he could go in for riding in a circus ... who remembers his amazing scarey ride on Jaypeg in Dubai, one leg on and one leg off, with the thundering herd behind and around him? If he'd fallen off that day he would have been hamburger meat. And yet he still got Jaypeg to win ... just like with Assessment.
