They have had 117mls on the track so far and more rain possible tomorrow. Sunday seems the best option but also thinking of just running the features with the false rail pushed out a bit further. Will post here as soon as hear anything. Any change causes a huge drop in turnover.

Idf they can't race this weekend why not move the whiole thing to the following Saturday. So it's a different season - does that really matter? The Gold Cup has historically been run the first week of August many times anyway.

Cloudy in Durban, had one or two drops of rain just now but for the time being it seems to have stopped. The sky looks rather ominous, though.

I'm 1km from the track - just had a huge deluge of pouring rain. Light rain now, but considering there were still puddles on the track and golfcourse last night, there is no way they can race
