I was at times very outspoken about Hollywood, but had a nice bet on Arlington (race 6) tonight without any fuss. Transfer was reflected within 1 minute (yes 1 minute!). Phoned to place my bet and experienced very friendly, efficient service and in no time was my bet placed. Well done Hollywood - you are tops!

Not another false "first choice" ride..

Well - I will be in town as I have two lively runners. Deceptive has improved a lot since his last start (couple of things sorted out) and Gavin/Warren has done a lot of work with him - hence he takes the ride as he needs a strong rider. He will be very, very hard to beat! I also have Tory who has been rested. She has the class to win this race and will go very close. Her regular pilot (Khumalo) is not riding her and as a young 3yo she is taking on some hard knockers - which makes us careful. Her work has been top class - good E/W bet.

The day before S'manga had his fall I caught a double with TORY and Clive Murphy's horse MAKZOOS the reason i remember this is because I had a very decent win (50k/1400) Tory fought like a Trojan and got up a sh/head so she has a very special place in my heart and I will be rooting for her 2morrow
