Just as a note ,devine jet was a buyback @ the sales and resold @ the graham beck dispersal sale for 1 million,so infact the original bidder(the breeder)only paid the commission on the the 4 million that was bidded on the horse

I have been racing for three decades and every year we hear The Dingaans should be a Gr1. And it should be..

The Guineas in Durban should also be a Gr 1. I know that there has to be some sort of ratio between Gr 1's and Gr 2's, but if needs be I would not be opposed to downgrading a couple of Gr 1 Handicaps to make room at the top level for some big level weights 3yo races that are often won by rising champions. To me it would make no difference to a race like the Gold Cup if it was dropped to Gr 2 - it would be the same race with the same horses running.

I'm slightly confident that Azzie/Lerena will win BOTH the fillies/colts features.

The Jet won a good race in soft on gold cup day . He could be the right one in the summer if rain persists!
