No more Johnnie Green

Johnnie Walker Green Label, a blend of the four single malts, Talisker, Caol Ila, Cragganmore and Linkwood has been discontinued by the House of Walker.

The company states that in the long term this will strengthen its overall offering as producers of premium malt and grain blended whiskies, as Green Label was a malt blend.

Scotia get rid of them its not worth breaking in for those 2 bottles as they will drink your bar dry,shit i forgot your spirits are emptied out daily.

Wow - that's a surprise. It was my personal Johnnie Walker favourite and actually rates far higher in most tasting guides than the more popular Black and the supposedly heavenly ( but actually disturbingly ordinary ) Blue.

It was also often freely available in a 1 litre bottle.

Will miss it.
