just looking at the race again RG, i have also heard from a reliable source that the connections of Rain Gal think they will win it. Just for your info......so there are 2 confident stables in that race.

With all these postings about the race of Lords and the Drier first -timers etc, My bets were done yesterday.
Whether righ or wrong, this is no time to cry. Myself and 2 others will lose big time if our bets do not come in.
That will also affect our ATC going onto 2 horses on Saturday.
That is racing. We take it on the chin as always and live another day.

Having said that, we have had a good "strike rate" since late December.
Hopefully we would be able to get through today as well.

For those that are prepared to take your chances. This is what we have done

Main Play of the day:-
Singing Lord onto Northern Emperor (big time)
Reign as Kings/ Singing Lord/ Nothern Emperor (medium outlay with a large payout).
Then the above treble with Agra and one other in the Cape.

Here is hoping for the best. You can't will it all.
