value bet firstofly race 3...weights were published before her last run where she ran 3rd so her weight could not be adjusted to her new rating..so she carries the weight of her old rating of 47..which is undoubtedly much higher now

Finvarra the ''best'' on the card for me, that run behind Whiteline Fever stands out... Midnight Dragon worth including in the last for Goose/Strydom combo...

100%. I know we had a similar situation with Nautical Adventure at one of these meetings not long ago and he flopped, but at least this filly is lightly raced and if the improvement of her last run is taken at face value she should go very close. The way Returnee won with the blinkers last time makes him the best of the day for me. Finvarra has run well in some plate races, but he got beat in one of these low grade handicaps in between so I'd be very wary of horses running seemingly miles above their ratings in small fields for plated races.
