cape town has also got the best course in kenilworth,the 1200m is one of the stiffest and if your horse can win it should get a mile any where else and vice versa.also two bends each offering there own challenges.Riding in CT is all about tactics

Just look at the average merit ratings of the runners in most races and the answer is Kimberley as sure as Moscow is the capital of Russia.

If we are to consider where the respective trainers are based most of the year round, I believe the order of best quality to worst to be as follows; KZN, W.Cape, Gauteng, E.Cape, N.Cape. I'm sure that'll get a few tongues wagging.
