Lets get Pirates onto the board, it'll give him something to occupy his day, apart from studying form, lol.

I am sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong but I'm not sure whether it is required for GC to disclose this information as they are not a public company.
Phumelela disclose their fees ( and attendance ) in the annual report.

The information will be disclosed in the AFS, Annual Report and Chairmans report, however this information will only be 'available' to shareholders and other parties such as their bankers / financers.

In terms of basic sa corperate governance requirement GC would need to have a remuneration policy and committee all the information should available there...

Hey Pirates my bud...I been thinking bout this thread for a while now. It has become apparent to me that there are winners and losers firstly financially in this game but more importantly there are winners and losers in the confidence of a level playing field in this game. I think when an owner or punter (the ones who pay) realise that they are on a hiding to nothing right from the day they purchase a horse or take a bet on a good thing that gets left at the start they start turning sour.
One does not mind if the people taking money out of the game actually earn that money through achievement of results ie increased sponsorships, better stakes, better incentives in a purchase, winners etc BUT when they take money out and there are no visible results on what they have achieved to warrant the takeout, then it is a concern.

I think we will see in the near future that these guys are on our side as some of the things that they are changing will benefit the Natal based trainers who mostly have Natal owners so I am confident that will help us. Paul our Trainers chairman is very bullish so we as trainers are looking forward to that. I will wait until it is definite before writitng what the changes are. As I always say we voted the directors on so now let them get on a do what we voted them on for. If they stuff up then have a go but this is still all work in progress so lets see but it sounds good.
