Imo, Main Dane may well turn out to be a special horse, but he received 5 kg's and was soundly beaten by a horse that I don't think anybody has rated as 'top class'; the turn around in form with Wagner could be explained by Z being a better horse at the stand side track - interesting was the conversation about blinkers - the jockey saying that he needs them, but the trainer disagrees?

Not in the DERBY but runs this weekend TURFFIES R9 currently 6-10.

maybe last reun before taking on KZN winter season
