Quick poll, do you believe that some South African horse races are fixed?

Answer yes or no.

Sorry, but there is no YES or NO.

1) If there are fixed, what sense to tell it here? because to accuse someone without having any evidence is even more dirty then fix races

2) If someone "fixes", then not that simple. If, f.e., a trainer tells everyone, that this is a great horse and just put his own money on the second favourite, is this already "fixed"?

3) Thats why i made statistics. but you can never make simple conclusions. and you should not. i also recognized, that a lot of betfair layers know obviously the horses better than trainer or jockey. what does this mean. that races are fixed? no.

4) Where money is, is greed. where greed is, is corruption. better talk about certain cases or obvious incidents

Has anyone taken the time to work out exactly what "fixing" a race would entail,the cost to make it worth while, the chances of everyone in the race being prepared to "play ball", keeping it quite when so many people are in the know,and then getting on for at least 30 people if it is a 10 horse field (jocks Trainers and Owners)...my answer is not a chance...not for the want of it but it is quite simply a logistic an impossibility...sorry to burst the bubble of all our resident conspiracy theorists...

read about. but not in this manner, you insinuate. more like about misinformations or not riding a horse fully out.
that is not the same like "fixed" races and "conspiration"

My answer is NO..it is very very difficult to win a race ..even just a maiden..it would be virtually impossible today to fix a race as they used to term a "oner"..the Stipes also have a strong system to ensure that..including deviations from riding styles etc
