Guys, Pirate Queen disaster.

Lets have your lays for the day, maybe the punters would not go wild on a punt.

Lays need to be identified in advance...........Pirate Queen ran today off a 79 and last time to a 91......it was only an advanced LAY if you had a vision or knew something.

Easy could see the Betfair pattern which is different and was in real time.

Rob, out of curiosity how do you conclue PQ ran to a 91 last time? The handicappers gave her no penalty for that win so they clearly saw it differently.

Rob Im not going to get into a debate about this but if you believe there was something wrong then good luck you,,,however if you persist to make a case of it then you are doing your judgement credibility no favors ....

Magic ,the previous run was difficult to assess but I used the Western Cape MR as the most reliable form/line! I'll stick with that for now.

(Titch you are on the wrong thread mate...........I did not interact with you on this thread at all!!!!!!..............too quick to do you defensive trick.........lol..........go to the right thread and read my response to you)

The problem with that, Rob, is that it gives Pirate Queen a rating that is in a completely different bracket to anything she had achieved before. Horses can improve plenty, and she is still only a 3yo, but a jump like that would set my alarm bells ringing.

This in no way is meant to excuse anything that did or did not happen today, I hasten to point out.

Magic, only time will tell but I think she "may" ?? be quite a bit better than 79,and I certainly think that run was better than 79(I made it 83 at worst)

If pirate queen jumped on terms, and was racing up there she would have won. I watched the race a few times over and the whole time the jock could not find a gap for her, kept on switching trying to get through, which lost momentum and thus was not given a chance. That's the only reason it lost the race
