traditionally the july has been run at a good pace...milers and out and out stayers hardly ever win...go back and check de kocks runners...his winners have all stayed 2400...even the year that he had flight alert...ipi tombi the one without stamina doubts won...one thing about de kock he tests his runners before the big race...in the year that ipi tombi won the woolvahampton i saw de kock after the race meeting and asked what would win the july...without any hesitation he said ipi tombi...i asked why and he said she stays...that was even before flight alert had won the cup trial a week late...iam told that millard had the same strategy for the july

Doesn't the runs of Europa Point and Ilha Bela make the Jackson fans a lil scared for the July?

Imo (agree with pirates) Europa Point did not beat much, so not keen on her for the July; Ilha B could be the one, depending on the weight - winning the SA Oaks by more that 6 lengths no mean achievement imo

The only thing that makes me a little scared is, how much Jackson will be carrying 8-)
