Arsenals defence will be much tighter and more organised this season as Steve Bould, part of that famous back four, is the assistant coach and he will work those defenders until they blue in the face. When Arsenal had that famous back 4 they used to play against 11 attacking players at practice.

The Lucas Moura deal - simply unbelievable. Another nail in football's coffin for me and has probably just added 2 or 3 million pounds to any purchase from a South American club, it is simply too easy these days to hold the football world to ransom waiting for PSG, Man City et all to bid 5 - 10 million pounds over the real valuation.
The only thing that springs to mind that puts it into any kind of perspective is Zuma's proposed purchase of his R2 billion private jet which surely is the biggest waste of money I've ever heard of.

it appears as if man utd cant compete with likes of city and psg for major signings.i thought utds bid of 30m would be good enough for moura, but i guess psg put in a better bid and got the brazillian youngster.psg hv spent really big and i hope for there managers sake that they do well in champions league and they should win french league in a common canter.

if arsenal were to sell rvp to man united it would send a clear message to the arsenal fans that all arsenal want is champions league football, but by selling him to one of their arch rivals for a spot in the champions league could be fatal. Chelsea and Man City will be the top two so in essance arsenal could well be giving 3rd place to United by selling their best player to them.
