To answer the question - No he's not trying to mislead the public(he's tipped his own horses at good odds so what would he have to gain - Unemployment?) -

The subject of presenters is pointless...........if one suits you pay attention,if not ignore..............personally I take absolutely no notice of any opinions other than Darryl Maree ,recently Gavin Venter and Robert Bloomberg when they give him a turn.

Hi Guys. No need to support me as I called it wrong. Was my first choice until I saw him in the ring , continued to sweat up and did not look like an odds on favourite. Believe me I have been wrong before but I believe it is my job to try to let the punter know about the horse prior to the race and not let price influence my judgement. I don't mind taking flak from the viewers as it goes with the job. However, i do take offence when someone suggests that I am trying to middle someone. The day I intentionally try to mislead someone I will no longer present. Good punting.

I had changed my mind after hearing Neils comments, however nobody held a gun to my head to do so. Neil gives his opinions and he is entitled to them. I don't see us giving him kudos when he finds a juicy 14/1 shot that runs a place or even wins.....
These things come out in the wash.
....however I don't think that is what this thread is all about. It is not so much about what Neil did but rather about how Flash stated his point. Does he have a valid point, yes, should he have said it the way he did? No.
End of story, let's move on!

@ Odds of 55 to 1 and ran a great 2nd beaten 0.75l. And he was not even presenting that day.
And they say he doesn't have a clue?True 2 form Neil always looks for value!
