Guys in the Clairwood thread yesterday it was written that SAS had had a really hard race on July day and to be careful and now people complaining when it happens and she runs flat. Antious has a problem and obviously affected him yesterday. Not the stipes fault unless you want them to suspend him and then there will be the owner to deal with as nothing showed that was suspendable.:S

It may depend on the training methods, we've seen them come out within 24 hours in the UK and win again...

One of my old favourites in the UK if you think it`s too much for a sprinter to run twice in a week....

Tomorrow at Exeter Little Shilling tries for his 6th consecutive win. What is staggering and makes this almost unbelievasble is that this horse set out on 18TH November at Fakenham for a race, little knowing that in the space of 15 days it would win 5 races. So a win on Friday will in all probability be a world record. 6 wins in 17 days

i saw the races differently...Luxardo is rated 18 points inerior to the top weight by computerform, there is good reason why he is still a maiden...Antious never had a chance is this field, anyone who thinks he did does not have a clue, go back and look at his form...what do the stipes have got to do with this.

it seems that it it is the concensus amongst most SA punters that horses never run disappointing races and that our trainers have this amazing ability to switch them on and off like robots and that when a favorite runs unplaced or a horse loses form there is something untoward going on, what we seem to forget/ignore is that racing is not only about punting and that a lot of owners and trainers race for the stake and rely on horses earnings to make ends meet so when their horses don't earn in a race it is money out of their pockets just as it is the punters that hurl abuse and cry foul play, racing never has and never will be for the feint hearted so if one is not able to take a loss on the chin then they are in for a lot of flak...
