Unbelievable. First Call on the tv have no current update on conditions... no contact with officials or the track??? Whether it is the fault of the programme or the appropriate racings officials, can't people see how unprofessional that is, the most basic information requirement and there is no news at all a few hours before racing is due to start. Just smacks of being amateur, incompetent and thoughtless. What is wrong with these people??? Actually, best not answer that!

Be careful as you know Cape Racing is suffering and need the money. If they do decide to run they might just collect the pools and then cancel the meeting.

Wow. I don't know what's worse. That you would think that people will move and risk 100 horses with the plan to cancel, or that there are people who would make a decision like that, or that both previous statements are false but the reputation of the racing operators is so poor that we put nothing past them.
The racing operators stated position that they don't engage though, brings it onto them and I have little sympathy, notwithstanding the asinine opinion above.
