Before this thread vanishes onto page 2, I thought I should bring it to the fore.

Race 1: In Nonki Poo's 2nd run, she jumped badly, was very far back throughout entire race, also had to switch and look for room to run in at the 500m mark, but flew home for 4th, 3rd horse has franked the form aswell. Just have a look at NP's last run, see the amount of times the jock has to wait to get a gap, then finally at the 600 gets a gap but has to pull up hard as he found traffic, lost 2-3legnths due to that, then decides to switch inside, losing momentum and more legnths, and finally runs on with what was left in the tank...in my eyes with a clear run, this horse would have fought out the finish. Along with Surfer Girl going the extra furlong for the first time, NP may just be some nice value at 7/2. I do make it a two horse race, so I've taken the 7/2, expecting the fav to drift out somewhat, so any price around evens one can get their money back if the fav does win, but Nett themselves a 5/2 profit if NP does win. Backing the fav to win at 4/10, where you can back NP to place top 3, in a 8 horse field, in what seems to be a two horse race, the 7/20 places for the top 3 is the better bet in my books.
