apparently the biggest problem is slaapstad only give you draws after you have acepted to run not when you nominate so u take a chance by accepting travelling down and racing from a shocking draw.....only in africa

Who am I to question the great Mike De Kock, but I was surprised to see both Rumya and Festival of Fire in the same race. I thought one would win the Fillies Mile and the other the Ipi Tombe.

Don't think we have seen the Rumya of last year yet,hope she has trained on.

Hibs , she was scratched when meant to make her reappearance , cant remember the reason (but it was serious ) .

I think what we saw yesterday was about 60% of what she is capable of !

i know the frailties of comparing horses and generations....but RUMYA is the next BOOM horse in south africa....the day she goes her right trip(2000m)...there will be no equals to her in SA....u can open a RUMYA thread now and it will run into pages before she leaves our shores,
