New Jackpot bet

TAB’s Jackpot QuickMix launches this Saturday and is set to be a big hit with horseplayers.
The Jackpot QuickMix is identical to the existing Jackpot, but with a couple of exciting variations.
Instead of the Jackpot comprising consecutive races from one race meeting, the Jackpot QuickMix races will be sourced from different race meetings. The first leg will always be the last race of a South African race meeting and the other legs will generally comprise races from selected international meetings.
The other variation is that TAB will seek to include races that enable the bet to be completed in as short a timeframe as possible.
There will be only one Jackpot QuickMix on a day and initially the bet will be offered on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
Any carryovers will be accumulated into a weekly Mega Jackpot QuickMix pool held on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday.
“It’s an exciting variation of an old and popular theme,” said Vee Moodley, Executive Director Sports Betting at Phumelela. “We believe it will be of great appeal to many punters, particularly because it will be completed much quicker than a normal Jackpot.”
Jackpot QuickMix TAB sheets will be available in all TABs and at www.tabonline.co.za

Vee and Company are just trying to add credence to their previous statements. ............ that they make more money from overseas racing than local racing. I can not believe that statement. Its a load of bullsh*t.

Agra I see where u coming from n I 100% agree with u. But the angle m looking from is the fact that maybe, just maybe this bet will benefit us. For example many a times I do play over seas,but end up playing str8 wins or places and lose. So my strategy will be to go short in the SA leg(hopefully a maiden plate or something) and load the 'unknown' legs. Coz regardless of what anyone says overseas racing is still an unknown to most of SA punters. Just looking at a way 2 mk more money.lol

Trying to create more interest in overseas racing & therefore justifying the importing of the product, obviously local is not lekker enough.

Can't find anything about this bet on tabonline?? ... Even there crappy E-tab newsletter mentions nothing about it... ??

I like this bet... especially the shorter duration. Also there is so much more information available on overseas racing.... BUT any Quickmix which includes French racing or ANY Harness racing will not see one penny of mine.
