Your reasoning for CD is correct but the result is incomplete and thus a step up going the M3P route
.....Captain Al mares look to take to Mr P so nothing wrong....and if you get a filly which I hope for then look at layering Danzig/Danehill influence there after....takes generations to get a better ped picture.....

Ziets .....these things make less sense when whisky and braai fires are involved........Teamwild........never rated Oratorio until they sent him here.......at last we have a sire that will go well with mares that have all that Badger Land influence ......;)

Impressive! Judpot’s first runner Lady Morgana makes it look oh so easy (not the subject title of the thread but the guys are talking about bloodlines).

Yes Mac , it is related to the subject.........the spiel on BR influence expands to this type of ped too......Lady Morgana lacks the multiples of BR but a BR X Mr P X ND + Danzig and adding the right Nureyev make a good ped picture too.......

Even worse with whisky.....:S....but knowing how to peel a ped could be the difference between owning a real race horse and a dud....or punting an improver or doing your life on a dog.....;)

Our local breeders are getting better as more planned matings are becoming evidend.....however breeding in general......... still remains a numbers game....where choice stallions are targeted with huge books of ill suited mares in the hope that at least 10% will take and be stakes winners.......this is where 90% of less hopeful horses land up battling because they did not fit correctly with the sire...:(
