Jockey B Fayd’herbe was charged with a contravention of Rule 58.10.2, in that he misued his crop when he hit this horse with excessive frequency over the final 300 m. Jockey B Fayd’herbe pleaded guilty. The Board accepted his plea and found him guilty and suspended him from riding in races for a period of one week (seven days). Mr B Fayd’herbe was given the Right of Appeal against the penalty imposed.

Mantle Piece is I'm sorry to say a build up of excrement around the ring piece,and forms a thick layer of crust like the earths mantle.
So who ever is poking it has got major problems...<
