4 odds on Favorites 1 @ evens and 1 @ 12/10 so much for Xmas cheer...I will be off to a movie..

There are 6 (fairly) short priced favourites on an 8 race card, i am vary wary because most of them, with the exception of Testing The Wind, are young and unexposed, so i'm not rushing in to take these prices. One favourite i do think will arrive is Ambassador Rex (12/10), purely because it is drawn fairly well and seems to race handy, whereas the second favourite, Direct Approach, is drawn fairly wide, and seems to dwell at the start, thrice in 4 starts. I think it's safer to find a place all to come on the card, and i like the following place atc :-

Victory Cruise (R2) X Grasp Your Destiny (R4) X Parker (R7), don't be put off by this horse's last run.

Also like VC and GYD but I'm a bit weary of Parker (6/1) as this is 6.5 kg's worse off with King's Air (10/1) for beating the latter just 0,5 length in penultimate start.

Everything you've pointed out is correct, so if you also playing a place atc, maybe you should substitute Parker with King's Air in your bet, as we appear to agree on the first two, break a leg.
