Scotia on the festive season.:)-D
12 years 6 months agoGood morning to the Clan and I would just like to say a very merry Christmas and a happy New Year to all our sponsors, contributors and visitors on ABC, it's been another great year for the site and thanks for the support.
May you and your families have a peaceful time and if you are traveling come home safe.
Would also like to give a special thank you to Bob (Hibs) and pray that his health improves.
Thanks to Roger and wife for their support on the Interbet competition threads.
Site highlights include
The Shams great Christmas compo.
JB and thread, can you beat Jackson?
Sharp Design, how good?
Also some sad stories in this sick planet of ours, probably the worst one being the massacre of the children in the States.
As far as punting, we were glad to see an improvement from Bud Boy (will now be gelded) and Miss Diana runs on Boxing Day ( weather permitting) and hope for another good run to cover Christmas?
The King George will also be run on Boxing Day and have gone for Cue Card in an open race.
Cue Card 9/2 for the King George
For the lucky guys preparing the trip to Cheltenham we will miss our Big Bucks banker and will have to rely on Sprinter Sacre to win the Chase as the festival banker, Quevega might be the one to take Big Bucks crown this year.
I am looking forward to our trip to the Met and we could be watching Jackson and Variety Club fight it out but it might not be as cut and dry imvho.
The soccer is becoming a bit boring as far as the EPL and was hoping a few teams would have been involved but United now 6/10 and City 2/1 look difficult to catch, 20/1Chelsea and 100/1 bar.
It could be worse if you were in Scotland 1/20 both Celtic and Rangers ( in different leagues theses days).
UEFA Champions League could give us something to consider if you feel Barcelona 5/2 have lost their edge.
Hangover Bar
The Hangover Sports Bar has certainly changed my lifestyle and "time" has become a rare commodity but we are now open for drinks with a limited food menu until January but at this stage all positive after many frustrations and thanks again to Hollywood for a touch screen computer and monitors to allow the punters to have the latest info when placing bets via the Internet.
I will end by saying that there will be many people less fortunate than yourself over the festive season and giving is better than receiving ( this note does not include bookies)
Good punting, and may your God be with you

Wishing Scotia, hibernia and everybody a peaceful, safe and blessed festive season.
Scotia & hibernia, discovering your site this year has been the best! Really love the site.
On a side note to hibernia, was really looking forward to helping out with the compo today but am as sick as a dog atm
