SOCCER POOLS TAKEOUT

Hello everybody.I am a new punter who has just joined the site.
Without success, I have been trying to find out what the % takeout, from gross to nett, is taken by TAB on the various soccer pools.
PS You have guessed it ,I am a Southampton supporter from birth.

Then they must be making big bucks.

I think that SAFA also get some sort of kick back

i think its the same as exotics...around 30%..stand to be corrected..but i think i heard that was the figure bandied around...but even if it was 25%...its a huge takeout

from a tabgold person, 25% on all pools except Soccer 13 which is 30%

If its the same as racing,what do they do with the tax they deduct but is not payable on sports betting????

rob....its a cash cow.....no stakes to be paid out either....and why should SAFA benefit...does SARFU benefit from rugby..and cricket union benefit from cricket betting...i think not...30%/25% is an absolute rip off....for the amount that they rake in with soccer bets...i am sure its out performing horse racing....pro rata

As far as i am aware the takeout on soccer pool bets are as high as 33%.In KZN about 3 or 4 years ago you could not take a soccer pool bet as Phumelela had convinced the Gauteng gambling board that they needed a bigger take out on the soccer pools.This must be one of the highest takeout in the world!!!!.The Knz gambling board approved it about two years ago but the pools in kzn have taken time to improve.
