Bettingworld irritating me.......

I visited an outlet during my lunchtime and wanted to take an exacta bet in race 3.......11 x 2 (which ended up being the correct freakin result), but the cashier or operator was busy with LOTTO tickets, so i couldn't get the bet on!!

This is NOT the first time this has happened to me............at the same place. Customers walk in and hand the cashier 100 tickets.....if not more.....and play R2.00 per ticket. So she sits there and does the LOTTO bets all the time and not getting to the freakin punters!

I don't bet a lot, but i'm sure that exacta would have paid about R12.00 or so.

Has anyone else experienced this lately? I am sure the LOTTO bets are getting more popular, but freakin hell, then get another cashier on duty to deal with sports and Lotto. Now i sit fuming and they actually don't give a crap!!

they should pay the cashiers per ticket they process and not a monthly salary, then you'll see tickets flying. stood for an hour while they served one customer who had half a forest worth of tickets.

The customers come with 3 A4 pages of numbers which they abviously wrote out at home and the poor cashier must then type those numbers in over and over.........and at R2.00 a ticket. The guys are giving like R800.00............just how many tickets are that?

And the horse racing punters must wait! it's a disgrace.

All round they pretty poor. Problem is mainly that management sit in high towers and don't really know what the customers needs are

Reminds me of being on course...Greyville and Clairwood....back in the day....trying to get a last minute bet on Race 1 because I saw something in the ring....the farker in front of me(not his fault)...playing his PA's and Jackpot's....and for his 6 aunties and uncles....50c straight line...birthday numbers or something.....

saved me some money....on a few occasions....

To save yourself a headache open an account with betting world open an account with them and phone your bet through to them
at head office .II often take bets from them when they open btg and get prices on middle pinners which i think are opened up at the wrong price in my opinion and nine out of ten bets i take start at much lower prices. obviously they dont all win but i am up a good profit on these bets over the last three months .saves you from standing in a queue and makes btg easier for you.
