Was this not the year a couple of guys hacked into the tote and caught the P6, SA was co-mingled into the pool as well. The result were absolutely rough that year and these bright sparks caught it (maybe a straight line - open to correction on this though). Good movie all the same.

I may be wrong but they had like tickets where they bankered first 4 legs and put field in last 2 legs :Ssomething like that

I know they were planning on making a TV movie on the Masterminds series about the college guys who had the only P6 ticket for 2002 Breeders Cup one guy worked for the tote company Autotote and found a relay between out lying tote operations in the Catskill offtrack betting corp which allowed them to tap into the system after 4 legs were run.......had they not been greedy f@ckers and played a bigger perm and not played 4 bankers they would have got away with it as they had already netted $180000 in 2 previous practice runs.....the P6 nett pool was $3BAR with them scooping with the suspicious ticket......it was rumoured at the time 2 of the guys were staffers.....anyone know Glen Da silva and Derrick Davis
