Hi G. I'm in a lodge on Rivonia Road - pretty 'central'apparently - lol!

Original booking got screwed up - so, 48hrs to go have to get what's left - and in a reasonable budget dbl-lol!!

Sounds like you are not too far from the centre of Sandton. Mandela square good place to start for restaurants etc and not too far, alternatively Montecasino with bars, restaurant, musics and a casino also reasonably close.

Many restaurants in the area and a few "irish" type bars where you can also get a reasonable meal.

When do you arrive and how are you getting to the racecourse on Saturday.

Arrive mid day Friday. Prob 'shuttle' to Hotel - siesta then, nite on the tiles.

Was gonna catch a taxi to the track on Sat.

I'm really looking forward to the craic' with the 'ABC boys'.

As far as next week still tossing up a 3 day jaunt to the Cape - back for the following weekend. Trying not to get to much solid in case something else is happening 'local'.

Cukoo - not sure if Jamster is on his flight yet - if he does contact you ask him if he'd like to do the tour to the start etc (i think it's about 30 minutes)
