With the success that Paul had with his runners I think its a loose loose situation for the new trainer..hard act to follow imo but time will tell
Give everything but up!

Always hard for a trainer when you lose horses especially horses running in feature races(and running well).I feel sorry for the stable as they put in a lot of hard work for all the winners the stable had in all types of races. Hopefully Paul will find someone to take his place so he can keep his stables full and not retrench the 6/7 grooms(if it was 18 horses) now that the horses have left. When Lovestruck was winning and running well in features then Paul was good enough but now he is not? Did Paul not choose those horses?:S

Paul's assistant trainer seems to also be doing a great job there. Hope Laff gets some new owners, but the owners have the right to do what they want. I think it's a case of move on and move forward. All the best to both parties (tu)

amazing how so many experts can judge whether paul is a good trainer or not yet dont know the back end of a horse from the front..why people so quick to judge and condemn

Every owner has the right to do what they please with their horses, good luck Mentor. This is a funny game, i have stuck with 2-3 trainers through my owning career which has worked for me, they have been the smaller yards as i for one dont agree that the bigger the yard the better the performance of the horse.
I cannot understand the references to Laff's ability or the comparison to Charles, unfair in many respects considering that they are not from the owner.....
