I enjoy Cecil...it's the farking producer who puts Big Hens tips over the parade ring pictures....and gives the audio from Ngong instead of the on-course presenters....(who's balls I'd like to kick...)...

I agree he does not know much but in his defence it is nice to hear someone talking while there is racing on. How often do you see the presenters picking a pick six that wins that pays much or a pa that pays much? so in my eyes he is on the same level as the rest...a face and voice while I play horses....

I have been following racing for 20 years and no presenter has given me a 1 million rand pick six....Cecil has an interesting voice even if it aint good tips and as I have said no presenter has ever made me money. Maybe they should have a deaf presenter as well? The guy at the madiba memorial?

TT on a hiding to nothing cos everybody wants something different - personally I would rather watch the horses circling at the start of overseas races than getting tipping and betting info on the screen for other races and would also rather listen to overseas analysts before the said race than the studio presenter rattling on with all sorts of info but if they do do that then someone else will be moaning about no betting info etc.

What connections had to say
Who looked best in parade ring
Who went best to post
That's it then shut the f up
In studio
Before each race give the card changes for the race
Then shut the f up

I don't want there tips, pa,s pick 6 pool sizes , tote odds etc

with all the "info" that they provide...."tips, pa,s pick 6 pool sizes, tote odds etc" who listens/records/wants this...simple question that they can ask us...and the overlay over the parading horses of Rin Tin Tins mega P6 for 15 minutes whilst the producer makes himself a sandwich, slays me....
This was needed for pricing up in the Tattersalls in the old days before internet....:S:S the worst of the lot....is that they think this is essential...and we are waiting with bated breath for this drivel....

100% - I like Racing International but a pity that there is often a lag which through my own stupidity has cost me money as I thought it was real time

Tipster is right un that you can't please everyone,so they may as well do the most economical............also they make no secret that the masses are the target market!........SO...............as the TV's in the totes are "sound off" anyway ,and I don't believe that the home punters need the tips,why not just feed through the course production and save a fortune!
