I almost had a heart attack in the Benoni Tote a few weeks ago- Revamped to an extent(tiles looked as if a drunk guy did the job) but ALL TV's on with Audio - Some on Soccer/SABC 3 but what an improvement from the days where you had to ask the ladies to put up the volume just before a race - A functional place to take bets and leave as the catering comes courtesy a vending machine but a 100% turnaround -I must add that the staff are friendly and helpful

Generally I have no gripes at the mediocre fare that the Telly Track channel churns up.
Please people put Cecil straight on the Toowoomba "cushion" issue.
The cushion track is their version of an all weather surface and recently they are running on
a turf surface but he has mentioned the word cushion every time he mentions the venue.
The only way he is going to get it right is if some one actually informs him of his error which has been
going on for several meetings there but I think that his colleagues get a kick out him making a fool of himself.

Chainsaw is the worst motor mouth in the business,when you work out the continual referral to betting world etc,do you blame the bookmakers for not happy to pay the fees Phumelela want ,when all they do is promote Betting World and TAB.Someone should sit down and analyse the number of references to Betting World and Soccer Bets etc to determine a true value for the advertising content on Tellytrack.

Let's not go there.....many of these guys are plugging something or other.....either for personal gain or for professional favours....always the remote if you don't want to know....:S

ABC has been branded anti tote so let's say tellytrack is anti bookies ( apart from their betting world )
Is it still not a poor show that the punters don't have scrolling betting and that the presenters have to read it?
Has become rather silly, was there ever an official press release with regards to what we can now watch on tellytrack from 1st Feb?

For some bizarre reason, the requirement of presenters, by Tellytrack management, is that they supply their selections before the horses even enter the parade ring. And they have to abide by those "predictions", without being able to deviate if a horse appears looking like a million dollars or goes down like a powerhouse - or goes down like a crab, for that matter! Of course the presenters can say that, but they can't change their officials selections, which are posted on screen.

The way they do it in Hong Kong is so much better, with each presenter occupying a specific role, and the lady presenter offering valuable insight into the appearance of the horses on the day, as opposed to their appearances on days past. But, of course, you've got to know the front end from the back end of a horse to do that, and there, in some cases, the skill is lacking.

You cannot compare the way things are done here, when you have raced overseas.In the overseas shops the punters are given the price changes and weight changes etc without the continual shouting about what the prices are etc.SIS is owned by the large bookmaking groups but there is no favour for any bookmaker or tote whatever.Here its all about Betting World.Phumelela.Jooste and the rest come a poot tenth.When you accept mediocrity you only have yourself to blame for keeping quiet!!

This is the reason I don't watch USO ......a bit early to go back to sleep at 8:30am
