SCOTIA ON THE WEEKEND!

Good morning to the CLAN and hope we are ready for a great weekend?

Plenty racing, soccer, rugby to get our minds on a heavy punting weekend and hope to show a profit after the pressure and festivities have died down.

Well, I never did get my computer cable back and the replacement costs R700, so look after your wire, in addition they are almost impossible to source in Pretoria, and to add insult to injury it came complete with a 2 prong plug, I would love to shoot the bastard that invented "the two prong plug", lets be fair have you ever used, elastic band, prestick, shoe box to balance, to stop it from falling out when you are trying to charge the phone, hair dryer [ not me Mrs S.] bloody nightmare!!!, glad that is off my chest back to racing!

As you are aware our overseas visitor JAMSTER is having fun at our tracks and we took him to the VAAL yesterday, what a bloody drive, got back to Pretoria at 22.00 and got lost in Joburg, however I have a new name for him "HAMSTER", we are aware how good Kalvin's food is, but he consumed a [steak egg and chips], a [hamburger and chips] and [three wors rolls] with all the trimmings, so just watch the buffet at the big T on Sat.

I really enjoyed the Look-alike post on the Forum well worth a visit.

I was disappointed with Asiatic last night and can't see him getting within 3 lengths of Curlin on the big night, I did say that I felt he would start 6/10 and that could in fact be a good price, so the 12/10 looks great.

Was with Molly yesterday and he is off to Cheltenham today, and I am green with envy, as mentioned at 25/1 Rippling Ring looks a possible winner on day and is now 8/1! Would be a HUGE boost for SA racing, Steel Wings, next year?
Molly fancies Denman to give the Star a go, and I am looking forward to what could be the race of the year?

Couple of certs running today at very short prices The Bajan Bandit and Armaturk, so a "wee" double for scotia, but beware a 1/14 shot fell yesterday.

Racing from PE [ will be in the windy city, next weekend] and night meeting Greyville.

The rugby, will stick with the Bulls, to get my JWB back and fancy Waratahs, Blues, Chiefs, Reds, Crusaders for an ATC, on the soccer, I feel that Unt will probably take the league from Arsenal , but with the exception of Barcelona, we could easily have an all English Champions league final. Thanks again to www.sportingweb.co.za for all the sports updates.Don't forget to check cuckoo's tips on the sportingweb radio show, after his superb double last week!

Good punting and may your God be with you.

Scotia,
Get yourself a couple of those "lozenge" shaped two pronged plug adaptors for 15 amp three pronged plugs. They work a treat and give a great connection with no wobbling!!

Have them, but this two prong came with a large circular base and does not fit in them, but thanks, I have opted for suicide so no problem.

This in an individual case, but it got me thinking regards 2 prong bastards in general, thank you for your suggestions, anyone want to talk about Curlin or Asiatic? As I think Asiatic will need more than 2 prongs to catch Curlin, maybe a 1000 volts might help?

Good afternoon and scotia feels guilty!
Have won my JWB back from the Greek, but Mrs S is building a house in Soweto and asked me to help, I said I would love to, as bricklaying has always been a passion! but I had to go to an Urgent meeting in Joburg, and here I am at the big T, and the RA girls are getting better by the week! STOP it, I have high blood pressure.
