Watching these guys turn the ball a couple of inches, I wonder when we will ever get a quality spinner coming through our ranks.

When we employ a quality ''spin doctor'' that has performed at the highest level... Give that person a 5 year contract and part of his function must be to develop youngsters at the academy... Hate him as much as you want but someone like Warne comes to mind...

as you know its the pitches that SA produce. Growing up as a young kid they look up to Steyn, Philander and Morkel. In your day it was Le Roux, VB Bjil and Jefferies. In Gregs day it was Procter and Peter Pollock.

you wrong there
you only beat us at the Wanderers because you had a green mamba prepared and then you had a double headed tails coin and you always won the toss and sent us into bat on that green top. You also bought success (like Man United). Hanley, Pollock, Fothers, VD Bjil were all bought in whereas WP only had local players no imports.

Warne is only hated because he is brilliant. He would have made a fantastic test captain. Look at what he did with the Royals with an average team in the first edition of the IPL.
