Greyville Night Racing - 25th October

I believe from the powers that be at GC that all is in order and it's all systems go for next Fridays meeting - I think I will go along - I had better book a table at the Durban View Room.

I just wish that GC would get off their asses and do some promoting of night racing - now is the ideal time to advertise for companies Christmas Functions - why not offer companies packages - seats in the various restaurants with meals and betting vouchers etc - even done at a very small mark up you never know you may just get some new blood to turn into regular racegoers

Was down at greyville yesterday and progress does not look to good.The rails are all down and there are holes where the new track is going to be.Also do not know where the ambulance is going to drive.They got nine days to sort those things out not sure if it will be ready by then.

New plastic rails have arrived and need to be erected now - they sound pretty confident.

Greyville night meetings. Always look forward to them so much and become out of pocket at the end of the night.

Neven - unfortunately they don't seem that interested in drawing new blood into the game - don't know why the top brass hold the positions that they do - what a great pity that a sport that we all enjoy so much is so poorly marketed - so much could be done...

marketing or in this case the lack of it has been flogged to death on abc, but no one is interested in what the nutters forum has to say... sad cause i believe there are more racing minds here than on the phumelela board of directors...:X
